How to book any of excursions with Mundo Mapi Agency?

Our website has an online booking and payment platform for each of our activities, you can pay 30%, 50% or 100% of the tour. It is recommended to read the cancellation policies of each tour. Here you can review with more details how to book your activity and/ or excursion.

In case you have confirmed an activity and/or excursion including Machu Picchu with us and have only paid 50% of the total cost of the tour, you must pay the remaining balance at your hotel in Cusco, a day or two before the tour begins.

How to pay the remaining Balance of the Tour?

Mundo Mapi offers 3 different types of payment

  1. Cash Payment in US Dollars or Soles

If you wish to pay with this option, the remaining balance must be paid in cash (American Dollars) at your hotel in Cusco. You can also pay in Peruvian Soles (Exchange rate S/ 3.36).

  1. Online payment with VISA- MASTERCARD- AMERICAN EXPRESS- DINNERS CLUB

If you wish to pay with this method, you must take into account that the charges or commissions are not included in the prices (transfer fee 6%).

To make the payment of the remaining balance, you must request the payment link from the sales executive the same day of the tour briefing (1 or 2 days before the tour)

  1. Paypal

If you want to pay with this option, you should contact our sales executive.

NOTE: Extra charges for transaction or bank commissions are not included in the prices and must be paid directly by the customer. (transfer fee 6%).

Deposit Confirmation

After paying the deposit, please verify that the details are correct and send us the payment voucher by e-mail at info@mundomapi.com or Whatsapp. We will send you an e-mail confirming the transaction.

Terms and conditions

Mundo Mapi Adventure Peru “Travel and Tourism Operator Agency”

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before using the services we provide through this website. It is understood that any person who makes use of the services offered by our website has read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions and therefore the reservation is subject to the following.

Reservation of tours and/or activities

To book an activity or tour, the user must read, understand and accept the conditions of each excursion. This information is displayed in the explanation of each activity described on the website.

After choosing one of the activities, you must reserve indicating the name of the main passenger, travel date and number of people who will join the activity. After that, the payment process will begin through our platform with Paypal, Credit/ Debit Card or Western Union.

If the reserved activity is automatic, once the purchase is complete, the buyer will receive a confirmation email with an attached voucher.

If the reservation of the activity is specified as subject to confirmation, after confirming the payment data by Paypal or Credit Card, the Mundo Mapi team will be in charge of confirming the availability of the activity to be reserved. Once confirmed, the voucher will be sent to the costumer’s email. In case of unavailability, the reservation will be canceled and the total amount deposited will be refunded through the type of payment that was used (Paypal, credit card, etc…). Along with this, an email will be sent.

If all the Services you booked have automatic confirmation, you will receive an email “Confirmed Itinerary”. In the event that any of the services you booked is subject to confirmation, you will receive an “Itinerary subject to Confirmation” email, which will be confirmed within the next 48 business hours, if there is availability.

The main passenger of the reservation must show the confirmation voucher for each activity, which he can present in digital format on his mobile phone. Any remaining balance must be paid in cash and in US dollars, 1 or 2 days before the start of the tour (prior the coordination of the itinerary with the sales executive).

Cancellation

Before the contracted tour takes place, the passenger will have the right to withdraw at any time if the request complies with the respective policy of cancellation and rescheduling of the activity, which can be accessed in the description of each activity and/ or tour.

Mundo Mapi kindly communicates that by company policy no changes or refunds will be made in situations that do not comply with the respective cancellation and rescheduling policies of each activity.

We understand that there may be various reasons why a costumer must cancel or want to retract the purchase made. If the cancellation is made within the terms stipulated in the cancellation policy of each of our activities, Mundo Mapi will reimburse a certain amount of the total reservation payment (without considering the transfer operating fees). The cancellation policy is indicated in the description of each corresponding activity and in the confirmation voucher. Any request for cancellation must be made exclusively by email to info@mundomapi.com. Any cancellation request made by other means will not be valid.

The Travel Agency may also cancel a reservation for reasons of its own or force majeure (weather problems, strikes, natural disasters, etc…). In this case, Mundo Mapi will contact the user via email to notify the cancellation and reschedule the reservation or cancel it definitively. If a refund is required, the transfer will be made through the method in which you made the payment, (the travel agency will decide any of the 3 options and will notify the user without considering the transfer operating fees) within a maximum period of 72 hours.

Rates

All our prices and rates are in: USD (American Dollars), the rates of our programs are referential until the moment of confirmation of your reservation since it could undergo any modification of the agreement (fare difference on the train to Machu Picchu, new year’s, high season, Easter or Christmas holidays). The prices and rates of our tours are per person, with a standard double room, unless otherwise specified in the travel program. Our costs include tours, specialized guides, food, tourist tickets according to the itinerary and transportation, unless the travel program has a different specification. Promotional rates must be subject to the seasonal terms and conditions. The prices do not include taxes for national tourists, in the case of inbound tourism, law N ° 919 will be applied according to the regulations. Rates do not include flight tickets, airport taxes, excess baggage. (unless otherwise specified in the package) and everything that is not stipulated in the program

Payment methods

Mundo Mapi, maintains several payment gateways and methods for the services provided, which may vary according to the product purchased. Once the reservation is confirmed, the company guarantees compliance with the itinerary without making any type of modification and the client accepts the travel program accordingly. The payment methods are the following: Credit card: VISA, MASTER CARD & AMERICAN EXPRESS. (do not include commissions), Payment gateways: PayPal. (do not include commissions), bank deposit to a current account at BCP or Western Union.
